I am running as Independent candidate for North Carolina’s 10th Congressional Seat in the US Congress because I believe that for far too long our elected officials have neglected their oath of office to uphold and defend the United States Constitution. They are failing to represent the people; instead, they have become a body of self-serving politicians who seem to continually bow to special interest groups, which do not benefit the best interest of the nation. They have thrust us into their so-called free trade agreements (NAFTA, GATT, etc.) which have caused the outsourcing of American jobs and encouraged the use of slave labor in foreign countries (i.e. China). They have enacted unconstitutional legislation that violates the Bill of Rights (i.e. USA Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act and REAL ID Act) through the use of fear tactics, and they continue to push to enlarge the scope of the executive branch and government in general.

I believe that the Republican and Democratic Parties have failed to properly represent the people and ensure their liberty and freedoms. Therefore, I am running as an Independent candidate with the endorsement of the Constitution Party of North Carolina (www.ConstitutionPartyNC.com), to give a voice to those who have no voice, to those who advocate a strict adherence to the United States Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land. I want to give a voice to the many that support a conservative fiscal policy, a return to the biblical principles that the founders engrained in every aspect of our country (not theocracy, but biblical moral principles) and to abstain from unnecessary foreign entanglements and policing the globe. By maintaining faith, family and freedom, we can continue to build a strong nation.
